THE ADVISORY PROCESS
|
- The Client / Broker Relationship
- We build a relationship with our Clients based on trust and sound financial advice.
Our first step is to gain a complete understanding of you current financial situation. This will include details of your employment, dependants, assets, the length of time you expect to be overseas, etc. We also ask you about any views you may have towards investment. For example, you may have a preference for investing in a particular market or geographical area.
We then need to discuss in detail your future aims and requirements. This could include making provision for retirement, school fees, property purchase or establishing a tax efficient investment portfolio.
- Our Recommendations
- In addition to a Client's personal circumstances, financial aims and attitude to investment, we take into account the tax regime of the country in which you are based or domiciled.
After our initial meeting we provide an analysis of your current situation together with pertinent recommendations. This report will incorporate information related to product providers, including banks, international fund managers and leading financial institutions.
Ensuring that any investment is sufficiently diverse; one of the first rules is not to put all your eggs in one basket. This means selecting a range of asset types to achieve a careful balance for security and growth.
The security of your investments is achieved through diversification and by only investing in approved jurisdictions which have appropriate regulatory controls.
Flexibility and long term stability; often financial planning involves taking a long term view. We aim to strike a careful balance between long term planning
and retaining the flexibility to adapt to any changes in your circumstances.
- Our Commitment
- In addition to our regular review procedures, we are always available to provide help and advice which may be required due to changing circumstances.
